Farmers of the Lipetsk region participated in a round table where issues of state support for small farms were discussed. The meeting was organized by the regional Competence Center of the Agroindustrial Complex. The event was attended by farmers from various fields, such as beekeeping, fishing, meat and dairy, vegetable growing and berry growing.
The agro-industry of the Lipetsk region faces an important task of attracting young people to agricultural work, including farming and starting their own business in rural areas.

A trip to the Dobrovsky district with a visit to Vladimir Zolotarev's farm was organized for the participants of the meeting. He grows cereals, sunflowers and is engaged in dairy farming.
This year, the farmer received an Agrotourism grant. With this money, the man is engaged in the restoration of a unique territory on the shore of the lake and creates an agrotouristic complex "Blue Distance".
Students of the technical school who study in the specialty "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" also visited Zolotarev's farm.
Such a format of meetings proved to be useful for farmers and students. They were able to look at the prosperous farm and ask questions to its head, the press service of the Government of the Lipetsk region reports.
Recall that the Lipetsk region produced more than half a million tons of sugar in 2024.
