january 24th. /MEDIA TALK/. Employees of the Ural branch of the Rosselkhoznadzor did not allow an 18-ton shipment of frozen salmon to enter the territory of the Chelyabinsk region. The car with the fish was traveling from Kazakhstan to Samara.

During the documentary control, it turned out that the shipment was caught in Chile between July 26 and September 27, 2024. At the same time, the documents stated that the fish arrived for transshipment in Lithuania on July 12, 2024, two weeks before the catch.

Other violations were also found in the certificate. In Kazakhstan, information about the manufacturer was incorrectly entered, they did not match the information on the labeling label. The Lithuanian document did not specify the full name of the manufacturing company. The document was also drawn up on 12.10.2024, and the fish arrived at the warehouse in Lithuania on 12.07.2024.

The revealed violations became the basis for the refusal to import salmon. The car with the cargo returned to the territory of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor said.
