A member of a group that organized a network of underground gambling establishments in the region was extradited from Egypt to Yugra. He is charged under article 171.2, part 3 of the Criminal Code.

It is reported that in the period from the end of 2020 to the autumn of 2021, a man as part of a criminal group organized a network of illegal casinos in the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs. As part of this case, 14 participants were brought to criminal responsibility.
One of the group members managed to leave Russia. As part of the interaction of the competent authorities, including foreign ones, the location of the man was established. He was detained in Egypt and extradited to Russia, the press service of the SU IC of the Russian Federation for the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug told.
Recall that in Yugra, a man lost 35 million rubles trying to help solve a crime.
