A large-scale eight-hour strike took place in Italy
November 29th. /MEDIA TALK/. Teachers, health workers, housing and communal services and other sectors took part in a large-scale strike across Italy on Friday, which lasted 8 hours, the Associated Press reports. People are protesting against low salaries and the government's budget policy.

Dozens of domestic and international flights were canceled due to the strike, schools, hospitals and public transport were not working.
