Another mobile operator cancels the mark-up on communication services in Crimea
December 16th. /MEDIA TALK/.Yota has sent a letter to the Federal Antimonopoly Service notifying about the cancellation of additional charges for subscribers for using communications in Crimea and Sevastopol. Additional fees for services will stop being charged until February 28. All communication services, including SMS, calls and Internet traffic will have to be accounted for according to the tariff conditions of the subscriber's home region.

The Antimonopoly Service has previously ordered several telecom operators to stop unreasonably charging roaming charges on the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol. It has already been canceled by T2 Mobile and Rostelecom. Beeline has committed to waive the charge of additional fees from January 1, 2025. Megafon - no later than February 28, 2025.
