Autostat: the price of a new passenger car in Russia has reached 3.16 million rubles

August 9th. /MEDIA TALK/.On Friday, August 9, it became known that the weighted average price of a new passenger car in the Russian Federation in the first half of the year increased by 14%, to 3.16 million rubles. Used cars added 19% of the cost, rising to 1.17 million, Avtostat reported.

Experts noted that price increases had been observed in both segments before. At the same time, the weighted average price of cars without mileage only in 2024 exceeded the three million mark, in the secondary market the figure exceeds one million for the second year.

Recall that last Monday it was reported that over a million new cars were sold in Russia in January-July. The result was 58% higher than in the same period in 2023.
