The average maximum deposit rate for a period of up to three months was 19.68%. For a period from 91 to 180 days — 20.78%, from 181 days to 12 months it will be 21.30%. 19.58% will be the annual return on deposits for a period of 1 year.
The historical maximum for average deposit rates in Russian banks was set in the second decade of December last year and amounted to 22.279% per annum. The decrease in the last month was the reaction of credit institutions to the Central Bank keeping the key rate unchanged at 21% in December.
