Bailiffs wrote off debts to the participants of the SVO for 3 billion rubles
The 14th of February. /MEDIA TALK/. Over the past two and a half months, bailiffs have cancelled credit debts for 5,168 participants in a special military operation.

The total amount of written-off debts exceeded 3 billion rubles. This was stated by Dmitry Aristov, Director of the Federal Bailiff Service, Interfax reports.

In addition, 624 spouses of military personnel have been terminated in cases of collecting credit payments. The amount of written-off liabilities for this category amounted to 164 million rubles.

The law, which provides for the write-off of unpaid loans of up to 10 million rubles for certain categories of military personnel, became effective on December 1, 2024. It refers to obligations on loans concluded before that date, if the court has already made a decision on recovery or enforcement proceedings have been initiated. The benefit also applies to the spouses of ITS participants.
