Business activity in November 2024 remained at the October level

According to the results of monitoring of enterprises of the Bank of Russia in November 2024, the level of business activity of the business amounted to 5.5 points, after 5.3 points in October. At the same time, estimates and expectations of enterprises on demand have improved, and price forecasts have reached a maximum since May 2022. The increase in product prices accelerated, with the exception of the service sector, where a relative slowdown was noted. Among the reasons for the price increase is the upcoming tax increase, an increase in payments for housing and communal services and salaries of employees.

The monitoring of business activity of enterprises is carried out by the Central Bank using a survey. The latest data were received from November 1 to November 13, 13.9 thousand enterprises participated in the study.
