Specialists of the analytical center "DOM.The Russian Federation" attributes the decline in the new residential real estate market to the termination of preferential lending programs for a wide range of individuals from July 1. After their completion, the volume of sales of residential space was fixed at about 2 million square meters, which is 18% less than the average for the first half of the year.

In the second half of the year, demand for new residential properties continued due to subsidized mortgage programs (family, IT, and Far Eastern) and incentive programs from developers.
To date, experts say that despite the decrease in buyer interest, the level of sales of residential facilities under construction with approaching completion dates remains above the usual level: half of the proposals were purchased in projects scheduled for completion in 2025 (in previous years, the figure was 48%). Sales of residential real estate in Moscow at the end of the year confirm this trend, despite the general decline in annual figures, in October the sale of properties in a high stage of readiness continued to grow in all price segments.
