January 16. /MEDIA TALK/. The number of cargoes accepted by Russian seaports from the beginning of January to the end of December 2024 decreased by 2.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 886.3 million tons.

According to the website of the Association of Commercial Seaports, the most significant decline in cargo turnover among Russian commercial harbors was observed in the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin – by 5.4%, amounting to 275.7 million tons. Nevertheless, despite the negative dynamics, the ports of this region have become leaders in terms of the total volume of cargo transshipment.
