Carlsberg's business in Russia was sold for more than $300 million.
February 6th. /MEDIA TALK/. As a result of the sale of Baltika's assets, the Danish Carlsberg Group received about $320 million. The transaction amount is equivalent to approximately 30 billion rubles.

The relevant information is provided in the company's financial report for 2024. The sale of Carlsberg's business in Russia was completed on December 4, 2024. According to Interfax, the company became the property of a Russian legal entity, under the leadership of former top managers of Baltika.

In accordance with the agreement, the participants resolved all legal disputes, including those related to aspects of intellectual property rights. At the same time, Carlsberg retained 100% ownership of Carlsberg Kazakhstan and Carlsberg Azerbaijan.

The company's immediate plans include, among other things, the acquisition of Pepsi licenses in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which it plans to implement in the 1st quarter of 2026.
