China has exempted some American goods from duties until February 28, 2025
November 29th. /MEDIA TALK/. China has extended the exemption of some American goods from duties until February 28, 2025. The Global Times writes about this today with reference to the statement of the Commission on Customs Tariffs of the State Council. It is noted that the group of goods for which duty-free importation has been extended includes ores of rare earth metals, medical disinfectants and nickel-cadmium batteries. According to the previous decree, the deadline was supposed to expire on November 30, 2024.
