Dixie will test a new food delivery format
January 22. /MEDIA TALK/. The network retailer Dixy, which is part of the Magnit Group, has launched its first darkstore in Moscow, a warehouse for the assembly and delivery of online orders.

The warehouse with an area of 550 square meters is located in the Southwestern part of the capital. Orders will be collected here for transportation to several southern districts of the city. The center handles the processing of orders placed through the Dixy services (website and mobile application), as well as through partner aggregators. The company expects that the new model will increase the efficiency of its work processes.

As part of testing the new format, the company is going to expand its product range to 5,000 items. In 2025, the network plans to launch 20 darkstores by the end of the year.

Earlier, we talked about the fact that in 2024, employers' demand for couriers exceeded the demand for programmers. Experts cite the explosive growth of delivery services as the main reason for this. Most often, couriers were needed in the grocery retail sector.
