The most significant decrease in demand was observed in individual construction and the segment of ready-made apartments (by 43% and 39%, respectively), where commercial rate transactions prevail. As of December 1, the total volume of mortgage loans from the twenty largest banks remained almost unchanged and amounted to 19.4 trillion rubles.
According to RBC, the size of the initial mortgage payment in Russian cities with millions reached 80% at the end of December.
