January 30th. /MEDIA TALK/. This was reported by the press service of the RT-Invest group of companies, owned by the Rostec state Corporation. The power plant in Svistyagin, Moscow region, was built and put into operation at the end of December 2024. The plant can annually process 700,000 tons of waste that is not suitable for recycling, and supply 520 million kilowatt-hours of energy. This amount is enough to supply electricity to an area with a population of about 80,000 people.

In addition to the plant in Svistyagin, RT-Invest plans to launch three more production facilities in the Moscow region and one more in the Republic of Tatarstan. Together, five ecological power plants will generate over 2.2 million megawatt-hours of electricity annually.
