According to the new rules, for conducting business without prior notification of its start, as well as for providing false information, the fine for officials will range from 7 to 12 thousand rubles (previously it ranged from 3 to 5 thousand), while for legal entities – from 24 to 48 thousand rubles (previous rules provided the penalty is from 10 to 20 thousand). For repeated non-compliance, financial penalties are provided for officials in the range from 15 to 25 thousand rubles and for legal entities - from 50 to 60 thousand rubles.

The limitation period for bringing to punishment for such offenses has also been increased from three months to one year.
Recently, we reported that the total amount of penalties and fines accrued to Russians for 10 months of 2024 amounted to 783 billion rubles, 2.5 times more than from January to October 2023.
