For violations of the rules of fair competition, businesses were fined almost 10 billion rubles.
February 6th. /MEDIA TALK/. The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia collected 9.9 billion rubles in fines in 2024.

Most often, penalties were imposed on industrial enterprises that paid 4.1 billion rubles to the treasury. Companies in the field of communications and information technology were fined 1.3 billion rubles. The enterprises were obliged to pay 1.1 billion rubles for cartel agreements and closed purchases.

As emphasized in the department, the FAS resorts to the collection of monetary fines last of all when violations are detected, warnings and instructions for the elimination of violations are more often issued.

Work is also underway to prevent violations of competition rules, such as the coordination of trade policies of enterprises. The recent FAS recommendation for airlines to ensure tariff transparency was an example of such interaction. We talked about this in more detail in January.
