In 2020, Gazprom and Lukoil agreed to work together on the Vaneyvisskoye and Layavozhskoye fields in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In 2021, a joint company called Layavozhneftegaz was formed to implement this project. The invested funds amounted to approximately 200 billion rubles. The total liquid hydrocarbon resources at the two fields amount to 27.4 million tons, while natural gas volumes are estimated at 225.3 billion cubic meters.
