On January 13, 2025, Sergey Kupriyanov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Head of the Public Relations Department, confirmed the authenticity of the letter concerning the reduction of the company's head office staff. He told Forbes about this. The document was sent to Alexey Miller, the head of PJSC Gazprom, in the last days of December 2024. Kupriyanov said that the letter was relevant, but declined to discuss its details.
