Gazprombank announced the cancellation of cash withdrawals from Unionpay cards without commission

November 22nd. /MEDIA TALK/. Starting from November 26, 2024, Gazprombank stops providing its customers with the opportunity to withdraw cash without commission from Unionpay cards. This is reported by TASS with reference to the message of the credit institution. The withdrawal fee will be 5.9% + 590 rubles, the message says. Until now, there was a limit of 50 thousand, within which the commission was not charged.

Earlier, we wrote that the bank's customers received a notification about possible problems with paying with Unionpay cards abroad and a recommendation to stock up on cash. The day before, Gazprombank was included in the US sanctions list.

Unionpay is a Chinese payment system, one of the largest in the world. The cards of this system support banking services in 181 countries, including Russia, the USA, and most European and Asian countries.
