Grain exports from Russia to Europe have come to naught after the increase in EU duties
November 20th. /MEDIA TALK/. According to Eurostat, in September 2024, Russian grain worth 21 thousand euros was imported into the Eurozone. The reason for the decrease was the introduction of duties on Russian and Belarusian grain from July 1 this year. They amount to either 95 euros per ton of products, or 50% of the cost of delivery, RIA-Novosti notes. Then the EU bought a double monthly allowance of Russian grain for 11.6 million euros a month before the restrictions came into force.
