IKEA has sold its last facility in Russia
November 8. /MEDIA TALK/. Ingka Group (the owner of the IKEA brand) has transferred a distribution center in the Moscow suburb of Esipovo to a new owner. This is reported by RBC with reference to sources. According to the newspaper, the deal has already been approved by the government commission. Its cost is not disclosed, but experts interviewed by RBC call the approximate market value of the object at 16-18 billion rubles. The new owner was businessman Robert Uzilov, co-founder of several companies in the field of commercial real estate and logistics.

Warehouse in Esipovo with an area of 180 square meters was built by IKEA in 2003 and was the central logistics center of the network. The facility has been idle since 2022. It is still unknown how it will be used by the new owner.

Recall that as of the end of October 2024, 85% of warehouse space in Russia is occupied by marketplace products.
