Citizens under the age of 30 remain the most popular clients of MFOs in Russia — 41.7%, Russians over 50 are the least likely to apply for micro-loans — 10.8%.
The NBKI believes that the trend is explained by the regulator's attempts to cool down the credit market. Young people faced the inability to get loans from banks, which is why customers switched to MFIs.
Recall that in May of this year, the average size of a micro-loan in Russia increased to 10.06 thousand rubles. Compared to April, the indicator increased by 0.5%.
