International gas distribution center to be established in Istanbul
December 28. /MEDIA TALK/. The Turkish authorities have announced the preparation of a project to establish an international gas hub infrastructure in Istanbul. The business newspaper Ekonomim writes about this. It is planned to move the energy trading platform to the financial center of Istanbul and organize a global commodity exchange for carbon trading on its basis. In 2025, a natural gas trading center is expected to be launched in Istanbul, which will be implemented jointly with the Turkish company Botas and the Russian company Gazprom.
