Megafon will cancel roaming in Crimea. This was achieved by the FAS
November 18th. /MEDIA TALK/. No later than February 28, 2025, Megafon will cancel inflated tariffs for communication services in Crimea and Sevastopol. This was reported today by the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The corresponding letter was sent by the company to the supervisory authority.

It is noted that minutes of conversation, SMS and mobile Internet traffic will be consumed from the operator's service packages under standard conditions of the home region. In a recently published FAS report, the data of which is cited today by Vedomosti, the margin of mobile operators in Crimea amounted to 140 to 2,200 rubles for using a gigabyte of mobile Internet.

The service continues to work with other telecom operators to resolve the situation and normalize tariffs on the peninsula.
