Mishustin noted that the countries are increasing the volume of mutual trade, launching investment projects, and actively cooperating in a number of major energy industries. The Russian Prime minister added that the parties continue to increase cargo transportation and create new transport corridors.

Li Qiang, in turn, called the cooperation between the two countries strategic and effective. He stressed that Russia and China support each other on issues that relate to the fundamental interests of states.
