At the same time, in June, the issuance of such financial products in the country decreased by 1%, the volume — by 9%.

The Design Bureau noted that the negative dynamics of last month is explained by the holiday season and the strict macroprudential limits of the Bank of Russia. Against this background, a picture of saturation of the credit card market in the Russian Federation is emerging.

Recall that today it was reported that in June, residents of Russia issued 2.28 million credit cards to banks. The indicator decreased by 1.4% compared to May 2024.
