Otkritie completes merger with VTB

January 9th. /MEDIA TALK/. VTB has successfully completed the merger with the structures of Otkritie Bank, which began in December 2023, the press service of the financial institution reports. 245 Otkritie divisions in 60 regions of the country have been transferred to the VTB brand. The last branch in Anapa was renamed on December 27. The largest number of divisions was reorganized in the Central Federal District - 61, 59 in the Urals and 41 in the Volga Federal District.

In 2024, VTB increased its presence in the regions, expanding its network to 89 regions of the Russian Federation, where over 1,600 branches of the bank operate. Among other things, VTB is actively expanding its outbound service, now it is represented in more than 4,600 localities, and about 121 million customers use its services.
