September 26th. /MEDIA TALK/.On Thursday, September 26, it became known that in August Raiffeisenbank's clients in the Russian Federation withdrew 120 billion rubles from the institution. The outflow of funds was the highest in almost 1.5 years, RBC reported.

The media noted that the massive withdrawal of funds occurred after the bank announced the suspension of currency transfers from September 2. The decision became a stage in the reduction of the European institution's business in Russia.

As a result, last month Raiffeisenbank entered the top 3 organizations in terms of outflow of client funds. In terms of money withdrawal by legal entities, it was overtaken only by Alfa-Bank and ICB, by individuals and sole proprietors — the National Settlement Depository and the BEAC.

Recall that Raiffeisenbank will stop transferring funds from individuals from the Russian Federation in foreign currency abroad, it was reported in mid-August. The reason for this decision in the organization was called the order of the European Central Bank.
