RBC: banks have assessed the demand for credit holidays in the border regions of the Russian Federation
September 3. /MEDIA TALK/.On Tuesday, September 3, it became known that the country's banks have not yet begun to receive mass applications for credit holidays from residents of the border regions. This was reported by RBC.

The publication noted that in some financial organizations several requests were recorded, in others the bill goes to thousands, but the values are still significantly less than the number of residents of the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions, where attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are recorded and where the KTR regime was introduced.

Representatives of banks believe that the number of applications may increase dramatically after people who were forced to leave their homes or evacuated, solve the issues of basic necessity.

It should be noted that in August, the Central Bank reminded residents of the border regions of the Russian Federation that they can request credit holidays for up to six months in case of a forced change of residence or loss of property "as a result of the events that occurred." At the same time, the amount of loans for which a break in payments is available is limited.

Recall that last week it was reported that in the first half of this year, Russian banks rejected 90% of applications for credit holidays. The main reason for the refusals is the loan amount, which exceeded the maximum established by law.
