The "Portrait of a Persian Woman" was originally acquired in the early 20th century for the collection of Knut Littorin, director of the Nobel Brothers oil company. In 2016, the painting was first presented to the public at the Bukowskis auction in Helsinki, where it was sold for 400 thousand euros, three times higher than the estimate (the initial estimate of the auction house).
According to the results of the Auction of the year, the turnover of Russian auction houses in 2024 may exceed 2 billion rubles.
