The media noted that this year the methodology for calculating the indicator has changed. Until July, the ceiling of the amount available for a one-time withdrawal was calculated from 5% of the pension. Now it is calculated based on 10% of the living wage of a citizen who has completed his career. So, in 2024, savings will be collected at once, if the amount does not exceed 351 thousand rubles, in 2025, the threshold value will be 412 thousand.
Experts noted that the real amount of the average payment next year will be only 63 thousand rubles. Experts called the reasons for the small amount of savings for the majority of residents of the country against the background of low contributions and a short period of storage time.
Recall that last week, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov named the average size of an insurance pension in the Russian Federation in 2025. The indicator will grow to 24 thousand rubles.
