According to the publication, shortly after the start of its work in February 2022, the German firm Hellmann Worldwide Logistics warned its employees in Moscow that it intended to wind down its business in Russia. Prior to that, the company's branch helped Russian organizations supply spare parts, equipment and tools from Western countries to the country. However, after the start of the special operation, the supplies were sanctioned.

At the same time, Heinrich Tapp Rus, a company registered in the Russian Federation, which at that time had at least two former Hellmann employees among its owners, began offering its services to ex-clients of the German company. These included "parallel imports" — the supply of goods through third countries such as Turkey or the UAE. Thus, Russian clients were helped to circumvent Western sanctions.
According to Reuters, Heinrich Tapp Rus works with such Russian companies as the limousine manufacturer Aurus, subsidiaries of KAMAZ, etc.
Recall that in early June, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia and Turkey would find ways to circumvent international sanctions. He also clarified that the dialogue between the two states continues even under conditions of external pressure.
