Russia has become one of the main suppliers of gas to Spain
January 11th. /MEDIA TALK/. In 2024, Spain purchased 72,360 GWh of liquefied natural gas from Russia, making Moscow the kingdom's second fuel supplier.
The volume of Russian LNG accounted for 21.3% of the total. Algeria ranks first in terms of fuel supplies, while the United States of America ranks third.

In 2023, Spain purchased 72,690 GWh of liquefied natural gas from Russia, and in 2022, imports totaled 53,859 GWh. By the end of 2023, Moscow became the third fuel supplier to Madrid, TASS reports.
