Russia imported one and a half times less petroleum products from Kazakhstan this year compared to last year
November 17th. /MEDIA TALK/.During the first nine months of 2024, Russia imported one and a half times less petroleum products from Kazakhstan than in the same period of time in 2023. The volume of imports amounted to 46.2 million dollars.

The largest importers of Kazakhstani petroleum products were the Netherlands ($355.4 million), Turkey ($103.6 million) and Kyrgyzstan ($49.2 million). Russia ranks fourth in the procurement ranking, and Uzbekistan ranks fifth ($43.3 million).

It is also reported that Kazakh oil supplies to Russia have almost halved to $ 5.8 million. At the same time, the volume of purchases of fuel oil almost doubled and amounted to $ 775,000, and diesel fuel was purchased for $ 3.9 million. The import of natural gas decreased 2.5 times to 57.3 million dollars, RIA Novosti reports.
