Russia set a record for the number of new standards in 2024
February 19th. /MEDIA TALK/. Last year, 1,776 new state standards were approved in the Russian Federation. This was announced by the head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The standards related to radio electronics, microelectronics and electronic component base were particularly noted. Among other innovations is the first domestic GOST standard for hard cheeses. In addition, standards have emerged in such promising areas as exoskeletons.

As part of the Year of the Family, special attention is paid to standards for goods and services intended for children. In particular, new standards have been developed for modern educational equipment. A significant number of new standards have been approved in the military-industrial complex and in the field of protective equipment.

Another important achievement was the development of a domestic primary standard for measuring the volume and flow of high-pressure gas. Previously, Russia relied on European and Chinese reference laboratories to confirm the accuracy of measurements when exporting gas. Now the country has its own measurement capabilities in this area.
