Russian banks have reduced the advertising of loans due to the need to indicate their full value
July 19th. /MEDIA TALK/. On Thursday, July 18, it became known that the banks of the Russian Federation have reduced the advertising of loans due to the need to indicate their full value in the distributed materials. This was written by Izvestia with reference to the FAS of Russia.

The media explained that the antimonopoly service is already considering a number of cases of violation of the law by credit organizations that did not add data on the cost of the loan to the advertising materials, taking into account all surcharges. Thus, the practice of applying the new standards is already being developed.

It should be noted that the law, which obliges banks to indicate the full cost of the loan, began to operate in the country last fall.

Recall that in early July it was reported that Alfa-Bank could be fined for advertisements with small print. One of them contained information about the interest-free use of the card and 100% cashback, the second — about points for opening an account.
