Russian pipeline gas supplies to Europe have increased by 15 this year%
December 2nd. /MEDIA TALK/. In January-November 2024, Russian gas was supplied to Europe in a volume 15% higher than in 2023. The market analysis today is cited by TASS with reference to Gazprom's daily data on transit supplies through Ukraine and the European Network of gas transmission system operators. It is noted that deliveries via the Turkish Stream gas pipeline to the southern and southeastern part of Europe in January-November increased by 24% and reached 15.15 billion cubic meters.

The issue of further transit gas supplies through the territory of Ukraine is now in the focus of attention of energy market experts. Recall that the agreement between the two countries expires at the end of 2024. Some of the expert community believes that the transit agreement will not be extended, as Moscow and Kiev announced earlier, however, the EU countries will be able to continue buying Russian gas through auctions with capacity reservations and the transfer of the gas delivery point.
