Samsung increases advertising spending in Russia, despite withdrawal from the market
February 24th. /MEDIA TALK/.The brand's marketing activity in the first two months of 2025 increased by 30% compared to January-February 2024, and by 10% compared to December 2024.

According to TelecomDaily, which is cited by Kommersant, Samsung is actively using discounts, installments and exchange programs for old equipment to attract customers. The promotion mainly takes place through the MTS operator, and the latest Samsung models are available in Russia earlier than in many European countries and the United States, the newspaper notes.

Despite the growing volume of advertising, Samsung equipment has not been officially shipped to Russia since the spring of 2022, and, according to the company, it does not plan to resume them yet. The equipment enters the country through parallel import.

As Kommersant notes, citing data from the South Korean Yonhap news agency, Samsung does not rule out the possibility of returning to the Russian market. Experts believe that the company has a good chance of success in Russia due to the brand's popularity and active price offers.
