Small and medium-sized industrial enterprises received 22% more loans with state support this year

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Economic Development today, in the first 9 months of this year, SMEs in industry were able to attract almost 310 billion rubles. The number of concessional loans granted increased by 22% year-on-year, while the total amount of financing remained at the level of last year.

Of the 15,000 loans, about 3.4 thousand were directed to investment purposes - the purchase of equipment, modernization and expansion of production, the ministry noted. 73% of the total funding was allocated to small and micro businesses.

Among the regions, the most in demand support measures were in Moscow (40.3 billion rubles), the Moscow Region (25 billion rubles), St. Petersburg (17.2 billion rubles), Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod regions (11.1 billion, 10.8 billion and 10.4 billion rubles, respectively) and the Republic of Tatarstan (9.6 billion rubles).

Enterprises can attract loans under the program of preferential lending to SMEs 1764, with the help of guarantees from the SME Corporation and regional organizations, direct loans from the SME Bank and microloans from state MFOs.
