
Both trademarks are registered according to the classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services involving the preparation of coffee and other beverages, as well as the operation of an online store.
The Rospatent archive contains data on the registration of the company's logo, issued in 2012 and 2016, the rights to use which expire in 2031 and 2034, respectively. Several more product designations - Starbucks, Starbucks coffee, Starbucks Coffee and frappuccino were registered in June last year. At that time, experts noted that the company was trying to ensure the possibility of returning to the Russian market.

It is worth noting that in March 2022, Starbucks suspended the operation of all its 130 establishments in the Russian Federation. In the same month, the organization announced its final withdrawal from the Russian market, and the business was acquired by entrepreneurs Anton Pinsky and Timur Yunusov (known as rapper Timati) together with the Sindika holding company. After the deal, the coffee house changed its name to Stars Coffee, and the brand name was also changed, but it remained similar to the original. The value of the transaction was about 500 million rubles.
