State-owned companies have reduced the purchase of licenses for Windows by almost 70%

Operating systems and office packages and other programs were purchased for a total amount of 24.1 million rubles. Purchases of Windows OS decreased by 69% to 7 million rubles. In particular, according to market participants, companies are buying older versions of the 2019-2021 operating system.

According to experts, organizations cannot completely abandon American programs due to the lack of alternatives. According to their data, it may take 14-15 years to create full-fledged Russian analogues of the operating system.
