Tax revenues to the budget of the Russian Federation in 2024 increased by 31%
August 6th. /MEDIA TALK/.On Tuesday, August 6, it became known that in the first half of the year, tax revenues to the budget of the Russian Federation increased to 26.9 trillion rubles. This is 31% more than in January-June 2023, the head of the Federal Tax Service Daniil Egorov said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the press service of the Russian government reported.

Revenues of the consolidated state budget increased by 28.4%, to 4.6 trillion rubles. Personal income tax collection increased by 34%, VAT — 23%, revenue from cash registers increased by 23.7%.

Egorov also added that starting next year, Russian families with two or more children and an average income of less than 1.5 times the subsistence minimum will be able to receive compensation for part of the taxes paid. This will reduce the personal income tax rate for them to 6%.

Recall that yesterday it was reported that in five months of this year, tax fines brought 2.4 billion rubles to the Russian budget. The figure exceeded the result of the same period in 2023 by 71%.
