In January 2025, an increase in inflation was noted in 75 regions of the Russian Federation. In other regions, this indicator either remained at the level of December 2024, or decreased.
The Central Federal District became the leader in price growth with an indicator of 10.7%, followed by the North Caucasus Federal District with 10.5%. The Siberian Federal District came in third place, where prices increased by 10.12%. The lowest price increases were observed in the Ural and Far Eastern Federal Districts — 9.32%.

The increase in the cost of services had the main impact on the inflation structure in January 2025. At the same time, prices for food and non-food products remained virtually unchanged.
According to the Bank of Russia, inflation remains at a high level. To reduce it to the target of 4% by 2026, it will take a long time to maintain a high level of the key rate.
