From January 9 to January 14, 2025, the Central Bank will carry out daily net sales of foreign currency (yuan) in the amount of 3.41 billion rubles. At the same time, sales will amount to 8.86 billion rubles, and the regulator plans to buy foreign currency in the amount of 5.45 billion rubles.
From January 15, operations will be carried out taking into account the volume adjustment, which is announced monthly by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, amounting to 8.86 billion rubles per day. This figure is slightly higher than the figures for the second half of 2024, when the volume of daily sales of the Central Bank's currency was equivalent to 8.4 billion rubles. At the end of the first half of 2025, the regulator will publish data on potential changes in the volume of transactions with foreign currency in the second half of the year.
