The FAS added that the illegal increase in MTS prices affected more than 30 million subscribers. The company is ordered to eliminate the violation and transfer the excess income to the state budget.
Recall that in early July, MTS, Megafon and Beeline received warnings due to additional payments from customers in Crimea and Sevastopol. The FAS explained that from January 1, 2024, operators must serve such subscribers at prices at the level of the home region.
