The happiness index of Russians in October was 79%

November 20th. /MEDIA TALK/. The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion today published data from a monthly survey on the level of happiness of Russian citizens. According to its results, 48% of respondents noted a moderate level of happiness. Another 31% consider themselves completely happy. According to this indicator, the results deteriorated by 6 percentage points compared to October last year. In general, the level of happiness of Russians remained at the level of 2023.

According to the researchers, Russian citizens have shown an enviable level of optimism in recent years. So in 2020, during the pandemic, the Happiness Index ranged from 80 to 84% during the year. In 2022, the figure also exceeded 80%. The results are calculated based on the difference between positive and negative answers to the question of whether a person considers himself happy.
