The head of the Ministry of Energy saw signs of a "cooling" of the Russian economy
October 24th. /MEDIA TALK/. On Thursday, October 24, it became known that the country's economy showed signs of "cooling" at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Energy Maxim Reshetnikov, TASS reported.

According to the minister, this is how the financial system reacts to earlier decisions. The trend is largely caused by the reorientation of trade: now more than 80% of trade turnover goes to "friendly states," he explained. At the same time, back in 2021, the figure was less than 50%.

Reshetnikov added that the share of Western countries in the trade turnover of the Russian Federation has decreased to 19%. It is expected that such trends will increase in the future.

Recall that in early September, the head of Sberbank, German Gref, stated that the Russian economy had passed the peak of its overheating. Before that, experts predicted that after explosive growth, the country's financial system would face a "downward movement."
