The inflation rate in France rose to 1.7 in November%
December 13th. /MEDIA TALK/. Prices of goods and services in France increased by 1.7% in November 2024 compared to the same period last year. Such data are provided in the report of the National Statistics Office Insee, they are reported by Interfax. Compared to October 2024, consumer prices decreased by 0.1%. The index coincides with both preliminary statistics and forecasts of experts interviewed by Bloomberg.

The inflation rate in the service sector increased to 2.5% in November, compared with 2.3% in October. The increase in food prices decreased to 0.2% compared to 0.6%. Prices for tobacco products increased by 8.7%. The cost of energy resources decreased by 0.7% after falling by 2% last month, and the cost of industrial products decreased by 0.2%. The core annual inflation rate reached 1.5% in November, compared with 1.4% in the previous month.
